Mundane Oddities of Living Mindfulness happens when you learn to take comfort in the wait. In those moments of life when it seems as if nothing is happening, change is actually occurring. To have patience and to take pleasure in the mundane - the daily acts of domesticity - is a gift. This series is an homage to the poet Rilke and inspired by the art house film, Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles. It is a celebration of the ordinary acts of living and an autobiography of sorts, of the filmmaker's journey to mindfulness from experiences with depression and anxiety (see my YouTube channel for more videos in this series and the "mindfulness" page for more resources on mental health and wellness).
